Join us for a lifetime of learning opportunities! The Education Department of the Muskegon County Museum strives to build connections between a diverse public and an extensive collection of museum resources.

The museum offers learner-centered educational opportunities for Educators, Adults, and Families and Children. Every year, more than 14,000 school children visit the Muskegon County Museum to learn more about the world right outside their door. Many area teachers take advantage of our engaging resources and workshops for professional development. Finally, countless families and adults visit the museum for enriching and fun experiences that can only be gained at the museum.
