PROGRAMS FOR EDUCATORS

The Muskegon County Museum’s Education Department is dedicated to helping local educators enhance curriculums by offering a wide variety of resources to compliment almost every lesson. Interested in bringing your class to the museum? We offer numerous Programs in history and science as well as Special Events to bring the museum experience to life, and be sure to look through Planning a Visit before your field trip for helpful hints. Can’t come to the museum? We also offer outreach Programs and Loan Kits to bring the museum into your classroom. Looking for something extra to do at the museum? Look through our Resources and the Big Lesson for unique learning opportunities. To understand the full potential of the museum, attend one of the Workshops offered especially for educators.

Registration for the 2008 - 2009 school year begins August 1, 2008!
